I felt like royalty with the free WiFi, lovely garden, and the exclusivity of only sharing it with my own entourage. The nearby attractions, like Cabot Circus and Bristol, added to the experience.
Oh, how I adored not being able to set the central heating to my specific temperature. It's so exhilarating to be at the mercy of the weather!

We had a fantastic stay at the Granary! The property was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, including ground coffee for our morning fix. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the soft linen provided a cozy and relaxing sleep. We also loved the location, as it was a great base for exploring both the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean. The village itself was charming, with a playground for the kids just a short walk away. we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend the Granary for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

Incredible central village location, spotlessly clean and well ventilated on arrival. Milk and Welsh cakes provided, with a well-equipped kitchen including ground coffee. Super comfortable with lovely views of the garden and surrounding countryside. Excellent for exploring Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Mind-blowing! No smoking, no pets, off-site car park, and wi-fi available.

Immaculate property with warm and cozy atmosphere. The beds were so comfortable, it was like sinking into a cloud of softness. And the linen? It felt like being wrapped in a warm hug. Couldn't fault a single thing about this place. The hosts were absolutely fantastic and I would definitely stay here again.

The location was ideal for exploring the beautiful Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean. The house was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for our family. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, even surprising us with delicious cakes. We also loved the nearby children's playground and the large football pitch. It was the perfect place to escape from the busy city life and create wonderful memories with our kids.
For families, it would be great if there were more outdoor activities specifically catered for children.

The Granary in Lydney had two bathrooms with a bath or shower, which was awesome! As a young person, I love having options for my morning routine. The rooms were comfy and had a homely vibe, making me feel relaxed during my stay.
Personally, I didn't enjoy the shower in one of the bathrooms. But hey, that's just me, others might still find it pleasant!

The Granary in Lydney has got it all! The rooms are super cozy, with 2 bathrooms, one with a bath or shower for long soaks, and another with just a shower - perfect for a quick rinse. They've really thought about everything to make our stay fantastic!
Personally, I prefer showers over baths, so having only one bathroom with just a shower was a slight drawback for me. But hey, to each their own, right?

The kitchenette had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, with a bonus of ground coffee for the cafetiere. the property was spotlessly clean and well-ventilated, and the beds were incredibly comfortable with soft linen. the surrounding countryside offered lovely views, and it was a perfect location for exploring the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Being in the heart of a charming English village, with a pub just a few steps away, added to the homely and cosy feel.
The central heating couldn't be set to a specific temperature, but it was easily manageable by switching on when needed. It took a bit of getting used to but wasn't a major issue.
